PK Walsh Signs With the Pickles

PK Walsh, First-Team All-WSC outfielder, has signed with the Pickles! The standout JUCO prospect is looking to make a statement for his sophomore season with the Vaqueros and this summer in Pickles green!

The six-foot-two run-producer hit a stellar .323 in his freshman year in Santa Barbara, with 35 RBIs, 17 stolen bases and a homer to his name. Walsh is also a plus defender and will be a major contributor to the lineup in West Coast League play. He has great athleticism and can make any play in the outfield.

Portland Pickles Manager, Mark Magdaleno, had this to say about the signing:

“PK is a returning All-WSC player who will be playing at the NCAA level. The only question is where he will land. He defends and is a run-producer. He’s coming from Santa Barbara City College and Head Coach Jeff Walker’s players are always talented and disciplined. They know how to play and they know what it takes to win.”
