Tony Otis Signs With the Pickles

Tony Otis, University of the Pacific outfielder, has signed with the Pickles! The former sixth-ranked outfielder in the state of Nevada (via PerfectGame) is bringing his athleticism to Portland this summer to tear up West Coast League competition!

Otis saw action in 43 games in his freshman season, accounting for 19 RBIs and is a major contributor on the defensive side of the ball. He looks to make a jump going into his sophomore season, and will be in prime contributor for the Pickles during the summer.

Portland Pickles Manager, Mark Magdaleno, had this to say about the signing:

If you look at the outfielders we have signed so far, you will see they are all athletic, have the ability to produce runs, defend, and are competitors.
