The Portland Pickles are pleased to announce a new partnership for the upcoming season.
With the continued growth of the Pickles, creating partnerships that directly benefit the fans, and community is a main goal. Bringing in local businesses such as these will directly benefit the fans. Voodoo Doughnuts will bring their mobile truck for an appearance at a game (TBA).
"Doughnuts and baseball are as American as you can get. We're thrilled to team up with another organization that knows how to add a twist on the classic traditions. We believe this partnership will hit it out the of park,” said Sara Heise of Voodoo Doughnuts.
Voodoo Doughnuts have been a long-time Portland Establishment, and they will add to their creative doughnuts by making one for sale in the theme of the Pickles mascot, Dillon the Pickle. Look for those to hit stores closer to summer.
“We are always striving to grow within this market. Beginning the relationship with Portland staples, such as Voodoo Doughnuts, is important for our growth as a viable entertainment option for Portland residents during the summer,” said Ross Campbell, General Manager.
For being an important part of Portland for almost 2 decades, this is a giant step in the right direction in The Pickles becoming a growing presence in the PDX metro area.
Be sure to stop by Voodoo Doughnuts at either their downtown location (22 SW 3rd Avenue) or eastside location (1501 NE Davis Street). Pickles themed doughnuts details will be announced at a later date.
The Pickles are excited to bring creative partnerships to their home games, which start in June. For more information on becoming a partner, visit here.
