PORTLAND, Ore. (May 15th, 2019) — The Portland Pickles are very excited to announce baseball’s first ever sponsorship with a CBD brand. The sponsorship with Lazarus Naturals, a CBD brand headquartered in Portland, will begin in the 2019 season.

“This is a great opportunity to unite the American traditions of hemp and baseball, ushering in a new vision for the modern sporting world,” said Dylan Summers, Chief Marketing Officer, Lazarus Naturals.

Formed in 2014, Lazarus Naturals has been growing and harvesting hemp on their farms in Central Oregon, delivering high-quality CBD products that are accessible to everyone, especially those who need them most.

“We are incredibly excited to be working with Lazarus Naturals,” said Alan Miller, Pickles owner and operating partner. “When we heard their vision of supporting the veteran community, we knew this would be a tremendous fit with our fans.”

The partnership includes the launch of “Lazarus Naturals Veterans at the Park Program,” where fans can submit themselves or a veteran they know for a chance to win five tickets to sit in Lazarus Naturals Patriot Box. Visit here to find out more.

The two-year partnership also includes Lazarus Naturals as the presenting sponsor for the Rockin’ the Walk Summer Concert Series (A free concert series every Friday Night before games showcasing local recording artists) in addition to The Lazarus Naturals Patriot Box, exclusive to veterans.

But that’s not all; Lazarus Naturals' Assistance Program offers lifetime 60% discounts to veterans, individuals on long-term disability and low-income households, as well as donating products to worthy organizations nationwide.
