Pickles Extend Win Streak With Victory Over Bellingham

The Pickles win streak will live to see another day as they got a series opening victory over the Bellingham Bells, in a crucial second half series for both teams. It was nothing but zeroes on the board until the bottom of the third inning when the Pickles broke it open with a 4 spot, highlighted by RBI knocks from Kyle Mansard and Davis Delorifce. The pitching was once again on point for Portland as KC Hunt, Calvin Schapira, Christian Ciuffitelli, and Pat Hubbs combined to only surrender one run on four hits along with nine strikeouts. KC Hunt recorded the win in the starting role, his first of the summer. The Pickles will be back in action tomorrow night against the Bells, first pitch at 7:05
