The Portland Pickles Pub to Open Massive Sports Bar
New inclusive Sports Bar to features dozens of games and 3 story game screen
Portland, OR - March 20, 2024 - The Portland Pickles baseball team is thrilled to announce the grand opening of their newest venture: a dynamic sports bar located on Mississippi Avenue. This exciting addition to the Portland sports scene promises to be a hub for all sports fans, from local clubs to international powerhouses.
The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, March 21st, marking the beginning of a new era for sports enthusiasts in the city. The space will not only serve as a gathering place for fans to cheer on their favorite teams but also as the campaign headquarters for Dillon T Pickle, who is running for president this year.
"We are incredibly excited to unveil our new sports bar to the Portland community," said Alan Miller, owner of the Portland Pickles. "This venue will be more than just a place to watch games; it will be a vibrant space where fans can come together to celebrate their love for sports, regardless of where their allegiances lie, except for Yankees fans.”
The sports bar will feature an extensive selection of beverages, including local craft beers and specialty cocktails, while the menu will feature a curated selection of the best stadium dogs from Dodger Dogs to Fenway Franks
For those keeping up with all the merch the Pickles are dropping, there will now be a dedicated retail pop-up section featuring the hottest new Portland Pickles releases exclusive to the Pub alongside classic bangers. Grab your favorite new Pickles shirt and hat when you stop in for a drink and a dog. Local artists will continue to gain exposure to new audiences through Pickle's local artist series, further enriching PDX art and culture.
"We wanted to create a space that caters to the diverse interests of sports fans in Portland," added Miller. "Sometimes you just need a place that shows Australian Rules Football, European Rugby and Minor league baseball ."
The Portland Pickles' new sports bar is located at 3932 N Mississippi Ave, conveniently situated across from iconic Mississippi Studios. Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for the grand opening on March 21st and join in the festivities.
