Pickles Care
Portland, OR — The Portland Pickles are proud to announce the official 2026 Pickles Care community partners: Friends of Baseball, Path Home, and Unite Oregon.
Throughout the 2026 season, fans can directly support these organizations by attending Pickles games and participating in the in-stadium 50/50 raffle at Walker Stadium.
Pickles Care, the Portland Pickles’ charitable initiative, was created to strengthen community connections and amplify the work of organizations making a meaningful impact across Portland. Through fan engagement, fundraising activations, and community partnerships, Pickles Care continues to turn the energy of the ballpark into meaningful support for local nonprofits.
This year’s community partners each represent a unique and impactful part of the Portland community:
Friends of Baseball is a Portland-based youth development organization that uses baseball and softball as a vehicle to enhance children’s lives through the lessons of the game. Since 2005, the organization has served more than 50,000 youth through free and low-cost programs focused on mentorship, academic enrichment, leadership development, and equitable access to opportunity.
Path Home empowers homeless families with children to get back into housing and stay there. Located just down the street from Lents Park, the organization provides homelessness prevention assistance, trauma-informed shelter services, and long-term housing support for families across Portland.
Unite Oregon is a statewide member-led organization building collective power with immigrant, refugee, Black, Indigenous, and communities of color across Oregon through community organizing, leadership development, and policy advocacy.
“Friends of Baseball is excited to partner with the Portland Pickles to help expand opportunities and create meaningful experiences for youth across our community,” said Aaron Dickson, Executive Director of Friends of Baseball. “Partnerships like this allow us to continue creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow, connect, and thrive.”
“Path Home is thrilled to be one of the Portland Pickles' featured nonprofits for the 2026 season,” said Brandi Tuck, Executive Director of Path Home. “As a team rooted in family fun and community building, the Pickles are a natural partner for Path Home. We can't wait to cheer alongside fans all season long!”
“Unite Oregon is honored to be a partner of the Portland Pickles this season,” said Pam Phan, Executive Director of Unite Oregon. “The Pickles share our belief in what makes Portland strong: its people. We're grateful for this opportunity to connect with thousands of Portlanders who care about their community.”
“Pickles Care is all about using the platform of baseball to give back to the community that supports us every summer,” said Alan Miller, Co-Owner and President of the Portland Pickles. “We’re honored to partner with organizations doing such impactful work across Portland, and we’re excited for our fans to play a direct role in supporting them throughout the season.”
Fans attending games at Walker Stadium can participate in the 50/50 raffle during every home game, with proceeds helping support Pickles Care initiatives and this year’s featured community partners.
